ICAST 2020 Best of Category winners announced

ICAST (International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trades) announced the winners of its “Best in” categories as this year’s virtual trade show continued on Thursday, July 16.

The sportfishing industry’s largest trade show normally held in Orlando, Florida moved online this year as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. It began Tuesday and wraps up Friday.

In addition to showcasing products, ICAST is offering business and conservation seminars, as well as a virtual scavenger hunt for registered attendees, for example.

Latest products highlighted

ICAST is produced by the American Sportfishing Association.

“Despite a change in venue, the New Product Showcase featured the latest innovations in gear, accessories, apparel and other products to ensure anglers will have a great day on the water,” stated association president Glenn Hughes.

The “Best of category” winners embody innovation and entrepreneurial spirit, organizers stated. Some 434 new products were entered by more than 180 companies this year.
