
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) is inviting young artists to participate in its 20th annual Kids’ Fish Art Contest. Entry is free and the contest is open to all Ontario students. The categories are Grades 4-6, Grades 7-9, and Grades 10-12.
This year’s featured fish are the longnose gar and lake trout. Only one entry per student will be accepted. The winning artwork, announced in March 2023, will be featured in the 2024 Ontario Fishing Regulations. The contest closes Dec. 31, 2022.
