Point Pelee National Park was closed to visitors from Jan. 6 to 20 as a safety measure while its annual deer cull took place.

The 88th Annual Pelee Island Pheasant Hunt is cancelled owing to the COVID-19 pandemic as well as the call to practice social distancing.
Pelee hunt still a go
It will be business as usual for the pheasant hunts at Pelee Island this fall, after some local debate about whether or not the hunt is still viable.
