Sept. 1: Black bear opens in some Central and Southern units; deer bow in select WMUs; falconry seasons open in many WMUs; ducks open in Hudson-James Bay District; geese in Hudson-James Bay, Northern, and Central Districts; mourning doves in Central and Southern Districts; fall turkey tags available
Sept. 6: 
Black bear opens in some Central and Southern units
Sept. 8: 
Early geese opens in Southern District
Sept. 10: 
Ducks open in Northern District
Sept. 15: Grouse, small game, wolf, and coyote open in select units; woodcock opens most WMUs
Sept. 17: National Hunting, Trapping and Fishing Heritage Day; #CamoDay; moose gun and bow opens in select units; Ducks open in Central District
Sept. 19: Elk opens in harvest areas
Sept. 24: Waterfowl opens in Southern District; moose bow season opens in select units
Sept. 25: Grouse/small game opens in many Southern units; woodcock in remaining WMUs

Major AM/PM: Daily times when fish and animals are likely to be most active. Periods also last two hours, beginning at listed time.
