Aaron Kroeker of St. Davids was fishing Lake Ontario on July 28, out of Port Dalhousie in St.Catharines. He says he fishes Lake Ontario for salmon and trout regularly throughout the summer. “I was lucky enough to hook into this nice Atlantic salmon in approximately 200 feet of water off the down rigger 60 feet down.” He estimates its weight to be in the low teens, through he released it without an official weight. “It’s the only Atlantic salmon I have caught on Lake Ontario in years of fishing.” He will receive a $100 gift card from Canadian Tire just for submitting this photo. You can enter too by submitting your outdoors photo to our Memory Bank Contest.
