The Invasive Species Centre is giving away 10 customized boot brush stations to commemorate its 10th anniversary and to remind Ontarians that invasive species can hitch rides on our boots.
Boot brush stations are effective in helping stop the spread of invasive species, when trail users utilize them to remove mud, dirt and seeds from their shoes before and after using a trial. Individuals, organizations or groups that have permission to place a station at a community recreational trailhead used by and accessible to the public are eligible. The contest closes on June 7, 2021.
