Congratulations to Luc Sylvestre of Bourget, this week’s Photo Friday winner! It was the first day of the spring turkey season in 2015, and he and his wife Dawn, pictured here, were hunting in Larose Forest for the afternoon.
After some patient waiting Luc called in this tom on his box call and Dawn took the tom with one well placed shot. The tom had an 8.75-inch beard and weighed in at approximately 22-pounds. This was Dawn’s first turkey after hunting for the previous four years.
