Tyler Cameron of North Bay got this tom while hunting on his uncle’s farm near Coboconk in 2010.
It was a windy day and he could barely hear the gobble. This tom was with 2 jakes and 5 hens.
The birds came into 30 yards but wouldn’t come any closer. When the hens started to leave, he put his 30 yard pin on the tom and let fly.
The tom ran only 20 yards and dropped. This was Tyler’s first turkey with a bow. It had an 8-inch beard and 1-inch spurs.
