Prime Minister Stephen Harper is in Sault Ste. Marie today to participate in a question and answer session focusing on fish and wildlife conservation with Angelo Lombardo, executive director of the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters (OFAH).
The moderated session will be in front of 100 invited guests at the Algoma’s Water Tower Inn & Suites.
“Today’s event is an excellent opportunity to shed light on conservation on a national level,” said OFAH manager of communications Galen Eagle. “It’s not everyday you get to sit down with the Prime Minister of Canada and discuss the issues that are at the core of hunting and angling in this country. We’re glad to take part today and help lead those conversations.”
Sault Ste. Marie MP Bryan Hayes, Dauphin—Swan River—Marquette MP Robert Sopuck, and Nipissing—Timiskaming MP Jay Aspin will be joining Harper at the event.
