The discovery of wild lake trout fry in mid-May by New York State’s Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) was confirmed in a press release.
The province will invest $7.47 million in projects aimed at improving the health of the Great Lakes.
Public feedback is sought for a new draft Canada-Ontario Agreement (COA) on Great Lakes Water Quality and Ecosystem Health released by the provincial and federal governments earlier this month.
