Dave Legault of Toronto took this bird during the third weekend of the turkey hunt on a buddy’s farm. “The morning was mystical – warm and foggy with a brisk breeze. I was hunting with my 16-year-old apprentice, who had already bagged his first turkey.” Within 20 minutes of calling, this big tom came running into the decoys, right past the apprentice and stopped in the middle of the decoys to announce his presence.
