CT bannerBrian - fish rescue

Brian Hardy and his friend Joe Lewis (pictured here) were trout fishing on the Maitland River in Goderich when they spotted this stranded rainbow trout. The 2 anglers were walking across a bridge when they saw it.

Brain said his friend hiked down the bank and stuck his hand in the freezing water to help revive this fish. He said it was barely moving when they found it.

Once in deeper, cool water the trout perked up and Brian said he watched her “kicked away and swim up river.”
