James Adler, from Sudbury, caught this monster lake trout during an annual May long weekend fishing trip with friends.
It weighted in at 25 pounds and was 40 inches long. After snapping a couple of pictures, he released it, unharmed.
This was the 20th year James has been on this trip. It will probably be 20 more years before he reels in another laker like this one.
