Production of firearms licence cards and processing of new applications are on hold until further notice as a result of the pandemic.

Firearms courses are also postponed. A bulletin from the RCMP states licence holders have a six-month grace period if their licence expires during this time.

Provincial hunting and fishing licences are still available online to print at home or e-mailing to a mobile device. However, some private licence issuers and Service Ontario centres may be closed.

Hunting draw applications for deer (now), moose (April 15) and elk (April 15) can be submitted online or by automated telephone at 1-800-288-1155.
