Canada Post has ceased national operations as of 12:01 a.m. on Nov. 15, 2024. The strike is expected to cause lengthy delays, affecting millions across the country during one of the busiest times of the year.
While mail and parcels will be delivered as quickly as possible once operations resume on a first-in first-out basis, no new items will be accepted until the end of the strike, and some post office outlets will be closed, a statement read.
On Canada Post delivering OOD subscriptions
Most, if not all, Ontario OUT of DOORS print magazine readers should have received their Nov. – Dec. 2024 issue in the mail prior to the strike. If the Canada Post strike endures, you can still read the current and archived digital editions of OOD until operations resume.
