You have to kill off the free market and concept of property as a right to do so. Property is and life are tied to life and rights and if you destroy those concept in practice and reality - the you make the conditions perfect for state to intervene as the savior of the desperate people. Government creates the problem in order to fix the problem.

Taxes are the same everywhere, except property taxes. Toronto has the lowest property tax per $ value of the house, than any other place in the province. People are leaving the city because there are no places that they can afford to buy or rent.

Toronto taxes are lower because the rest of provinces subsidizes TO, are you that dense not to understand this, the bulk of revenue collection is spread in GTA (coincidently the highest vote rich portion of Ontarowe), Land Transfer title tax is 3 levels across the province and benefits only TO under MPAC. Just go to the website and plug in differences based on property value. The rape of rural taxpayers continues.

Wrong, proven over and over again. Right wing think tank Fraser Institute put the figure of 9 billion dollars a year, on the amount of tax revenue Toronto gives out to the rest of the province. No small town could afford a snow plow and driver without Toronto's help. The tax base won't support it. That bus line in Lindsay with a couple of people on the bus, is paid for by the riders of the TTC that are jammed in like sardines.

I believe you are one again incorrect. The TTC does not fund bus lines in Lindsey, not even close. If it was not for the Provincial and Federal subsidies the TTC receive they would close their doors - please see page 20/60 in the attached TTC Annual Report. Ford never asked for any bailout money if i remember correctly. Funny thing is now that we have a conservative provincial government, GM is coming back to Oshawa.
I lost lots of money in 09, I worked and made it all back, nothing was given to me. My hand has never taken handouts from the government. I was raised to realize if I want something than go out and work for it.

Nobody has ever handed me money and I managed to support a wife and three children and she stayed home with them from birth to adulthood.

GM is coming back to Oshawa because our workers here make the best truck and their quality has always been good.

I could not reverse our relationship with China anymore than anyone on this forum.We are locked in with them for better or worse,does not mean I agree with it.I am pretty sure the Conservatives did nothing to change the relationship in the past.

They would not have been in the Middle East had it not been the phoney war for oil started by Mr Bush and his weapons of mass destruction.If America had not given false hope to the countries they de stabilized and encouraged them to uprise we could not have the carnage in Syria or Libya. American has the hands of God upon them now and its not going to be pretty.
