Strangely enough, addressing this problem by allowing the other 90% to develop worsens the "climate change" problem - I mean if you believe in that stuff.
Addressing climate change and achieving economic equality are highly conflicting goals - unless the objective is to bring down the first world standard of living to that of the third world.

Its called allowing the rich to invest in the usa and create jobs. Liberals want to tax big businesses to the point they just pack up shop and move to a country that gives tax break incentives to run a business and create jobs. Its so bad in Canada people are leaving the cities because the taxes to just live in the city are far to high.

W.R... I would like to see it balanced better than 90-10%. How about we truly share the entire worlds wealth amongst as many people as we can. Like that tiny country in Africa that produces a mineral essential to all the worlds cell phones. Their citizens live a life of poverty while the world takes that natural resource for peanuts. Spread the worlds wealth for the betterment of all mankind. Our standard of living is unsustainable, even if we don't try to bring others out of their third world standard of living.

Taxes are the same everywhere, except property taxes. Toronto has the lowest property tax per $ value of the house, than any other place in the province. People are leaving the city because there are no places that they can afford to buy or rent.

You are free to donate everything you own to others if you wish, I will assume you will give up your possessions?
