Ford never asked for any bailout money if i remember correctly. Funny thing is now that we have a conservative provincial government, GM is coming back to Oshawa.
I lost lots of money in 09, I worked and made it all back, nothing was given to me. My hand has never taken handouts from the government. I was raised to realize if I want something than go out and work for it.

Nobody has ever handed me money and I managed to support a wife and three children and she stayed home with them from birth to adulthood.

GM is coming back to Oshawa because our workers here make the best truck and their quality has always been good.

But as you should know they are back because of the SAME REASON'S THEY SET UP HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Access to hydro that was for years cheaper than in the USA, access to reliable transportation system,s and roads,a stable country, saving MILLIONS on Health Care costs which they have to bear in the U.S.and access to good steel and aluminum.

The average home around the GTA is around 1 million and going up.

The Canadian government have no option but to bring more immigrant's INTO THIS COUNTRY OF IMMIGRANTS.

Our population is aging and we need people to contribute to our economy and keep all the social programmes running that WE ALL DRAW from.

If we got no more immigrant's tomorrow we would become a backwater.Thanks in part to Canadians who are so self indulgent
and want all the toys that they forgot they needed to pop out the odd child to support them in old age.

Debt levels are high because plenty of people live BEYOND their means, Government debt levels are high Worldwide.

Bringing in criminals and uneducated from places like Syria are not contributing to our country, they come here with their hands out to be house fed and educated.

Sorry but in the paragraph you quoted, by K. Schwab, I read no mention of taking away personal property or freedoms. I see nothing wrong with, and I agree with, that statement, the world needs a reset on capitalism. To few have to much, to many have to little.

Syrian people like most arabs are well educated and many professionals.When we were still dragging our hands on the ground in Europe, the Arabs had already mastered most math questions,their own alphabet,astronomy.
It was fool's like Alexander the Great who burned down the great library in Alexandria and sent hundreds of years of learning backwards.The criminals are not from these countries, in fact I never arrested one person from the middle east period.

Fisher ... come on man ... do you REALLY believe that the people who have the power to do so and want to do this reset really give a crap about you, or the poor, and that it's about helping us and distributing wealth from the rich to the poor??? Jeeze man, stop drinking expired cool aide. As much as you might dislike capitalism ... I think it has pulled the average person into a better life style ... and there will always be different social classes, because there will always be people who work harder, smarter and are luckier than others. It's life.

Why would you turn your eye to the outcome of communism .... look at USSR, look at Cuba ... it doesn't work. It never will. You cannot motivate people to do better when there lives are never going to be positively effected ... and every little bit of extra effort they have to put in is distributed with 35 million other people ... so it becomes meaningless ...

So how about you,do you feel your privacy has been invaded,do you feel yo have no freedom,do you feel there is no freedom of the press,do you feel you have no private property.
