Canadian tire "Huntshield" clothes
Just wondering if anyone has clothes from the Huntshield brand at Canadian tire. They seem to be well made with decent materials. At the least they seem to mimic higher end more brand names, but a fair bit cheaper. Just looking for opinions on quality, durability etc

Has too much time on their hands
I have the coat and overall fall/winter bibs. The only complaint I have is the zippers at boot opening collected tiny ice balls (when snowshoeing) and eventually ripped off. I wear winter whites (army surplus) when yote hunting and it keeps the broken zippers closed. As for warmth, good, but I layer in the winter. The coat has tons of pockets and it does "repel" water, but eventually gets wet. I use both all season when needed, no issues other zipper. But lets be clear..I am cheap and if I could afford the best I would buy...but like said I am cheap. For fall duck hunting and rain, TSC has some good rainsuits that keeps you dry.

Saw them a few times. And tried it on just out of curiousity. Found it incredibly heavy and bulky.

That was my thought exactly.. even if I did layer, that stuff seems like it might cause me to fatigue quicker on a hike in the bush. I do like the price of the stuff though.

Ya kinda of what I expected. The price point is kinda nice but don't want to much bulk

I was at CT today, tried the huntshield jacket on.. its nice but it's TOO bulky for me. I bought a Rocky jacket instead, I have tonnes of stuff that I use from work (military) so I'm just going to layer with that stuff. Still on the hunt for some decent pants!

I got the deer hunting coat yesterday. Its not that bulky when you take the inner jacket off. I only need a deer hunting coat for up north. for the sale price its not bad. like all the pockets and that they have zippers not Velcro.

Isn't the Rocky RealTree pants good enough? I got them today at CT on Sale.

I couldn't find a set I liked.. looking at getting something other than those. I'm checking out Bass Pro and Cabelas and even going to consider Under Armour ones.

Under armour is worth every penny you pay for it. I really like redhead from bass pro too. Bibs and pants.
Scentlock has good quality stuff too.
