Winter is the ideal time to harvest this helpful birch tree fungus, chaga (Inonotus obliquus). Grandma said it'll cure what ails you.
What can I but enumerate old themes,
First that sea-rider Oisin led by the nose
Through three enchanted islands, allegorical dreams,
Vain gaiety, vain battle, vain repose,
Themes of the embittered heart, or so it seems.

I've been hearing a lot about chaga lately. I've never seen it before, or at least, I've never noticed it. I'll keep an eye out the next time I am out in the woods.

Easy to find chaga, just wish I could sell it for the prices I see online. I have 10 pounds sitting here and know where there are lots more.
