Pre-prepped camp food is clutch after working up an appetite chasing springtime trout. Here are some of my favourites.

What can I but enumerate old themes,
First that sea-rider Oisin led by the nose
Through three enchanted islands, allegorical dreams,
Vain gaiety, vain battle, vain repose,
Themes of the embittered heart, or so it seems.

The vac seal is a great method. When I went on a fishing trip last September with my daughter the wife made us up a few racks of ribs to take. Slow cooked and sealed just needed to heat them up. Was the best caming meal we ever had lol. Corn on the cob a Mac & potato salad with ribs.

I can as there's probably a few others that can remember the "lung in a bag" egg omelette in the military rations. Some guys couldn't get them past their noses, I was a glutton for them.
