I hunt rain or shine unless it's torrential downpour, then I wait until it lightens up. My best hunts have been on rain days.

If I'm out hunting already I will stick it out but I won't go if I had a choice. I just never really had any luck in the rain.

Getting soft in my old age. Given the choice aim on hunting dry days however openers or closers might tempt me still. So the answer is no yes maybe.

Bowhunting. Light rain, yes. Heavy rain, no.
It's not about getting wet, but the concern of losing the blood trail

My only exception in hunting in the rain is bow hunting. Not that I can't take the rain. It's the blood trail I'm concerned with.

If I'm out in a blind and it starts to rain I might stick it out if the birds are flying, if they aren't i'll pull the plug and head er in. If it's raining before I start out naw, I'll stay in and have another coffee...

Although it can be uncomfortable at times, i have no problem hunting in light rain.
If its pouring out, thats a different story.

I prefer not to but when you have a hunt scheduled, you have to make the most of the given time.
