We have mice and apparently they have a party every night after 1 am which is way past my bedtime. Also have a cat, and lay down traps. I think they're deer mice. They ate some of my Christmas stocking stash last year.
What can I but enumerate old themes,
First that sea-rider Oisin led by the nose
Through three enchanted islands, allegorical dreams,
Vain gaiety, vain battle, vain repose,
Themes of the embittered heart, or so it seems.

I’ve been using a “walk the plank” trap with 4 inches of water in the bucket. So far the garage has stayed mouse free.

About a month ago I was busy catching them every day for a week and then nothing since but I swear I hear things so my guess is they caught on to my traps. I am using peanut butter right now but may switch to Cheez Whiz ?

We're getting 1-2 a day this last couple of weeks. Battle lines have been drawn!

I sometimes put a raisin\craisin firmly into the bait holder and then cover that with peanut butter, they work on it until SNAP.
