Truth does not matter. Political goals do, regardless of the fact, that the least involved pay the price.

Last time-great majority of law abiding LICENCED gun owners.
This time -all of us. Or at least -the ones who pay taxes.

    Sunny days my friends.

    Time to sing Kumbaya.
Political goals were what kept Harper in power playing the pro gun crowd. Why would it be any different for the opposition parties to take a opposite view? How much tax would you pay living isolated up north, with no proper drinking water and very few services. Not much I guess.

well if we give them 40 Billion they should never need any money again, they are given Billions every year, in fact some of the communities receive more then some larger towns. Where do it end. I am curious would you give up your camp tomorrow?

Why would I give up my camp it is not on land disputed or subject to any lands claims. The Algonquin land claims area is a little north of my place and covers an extensive area.

If tomorrow FN came to your property and said it was theirs, would you walk away.

That is a hypothetical question and gets a hypothetical answer. Do I receive compensation for all the taxes I have paid to support my Township and its citizens. Do I get compensation for legally buying the land. Do I get compensation for improvement on the land, like buildings and structures.

In these crazy times when people can self identify as a carrot I am sure someone can self identify as an indigenous person and get away with it.

another statistic that counters the 'poor little me' image the Indigenous try to portray. Even with many being sent to healing lodges instead of prison, those are full too.

Indigenous women make up almost half the female prison population, ombudsman says
Indigenous women now account for almost half of the female inmate population in federally run prisons, says a new report from Canada's correctional investigator.

Indigenous people make up about 32 per cent of the federal prison population, despite accounting for less than five per cent of the total population. Indigenous women, meanwhile, account for 48 per cent of the population in women's prisons.

Federal corrections investigator Ivan Zinger called the situation "appalling and shameful."

"It's just trending always, year after year, in the wrong direction. And this is irregardless of what various governments have done," he said.

The Indigenous inmate population has increased roughly 18 per cent over the past decade, while the number of non-Indigenous inmates has dropped by 28 per cent in the same period, says Zinger's report.
