Some old adages come to mind like ; "the road to Hell is paved with good intentions" or "must we suffer the sins of our fathers" and of course "absolute power corrupts absolutely". Forty billion dollars may buy a lot of Band-Aids but once they're gone the festering wounds will still remain.
Good Luck & Good Hunting !

Whites are not to blame for FN's poor living conditions, this problem they created all on their own. Apparently 10 billion hasn't fixed their drinking water problems as they care more about monetary handouts than taking care of they're own.
When you force people into reserves, isolated from others I believe whites are to blame. It is no different from sticking a pile of welfare people into places like Jamestown or Regent Park, you cause your own festering problems.

Once the bottom fell out of the proscribed BS story, the politicians banging the drum had their stupid mouths slammed shut in a hell of a hurry because their credibility disappearted like a puff of smoke. That also goes for the ridiculous "genocide" spin they tried to put on the gravesites which were no secret whatsoever. The only issue with them was the failure to be properly maintained which people justifiably found very disturbing.
Did not even take twenty seconds on a search to prove your wrong. There is ample evidence and numerous sources you should read.

Serial killers, when trolling for prostitutes along a red-light strip, can bereasonably assured that because of their typically transient lifestyle, thedisappearance of his victim will not be immediately deemed foul play(Sears, 1991:153).Moreover, as Sears and others note, society devalues women who sell their bodies, especially those who are poor, and in B.C. and other Canadian provinces, commonly alsoof Aboriginal background. The capture of the killer, therefore, often takes low priority, and the killer knows it. Hence, the serial killer can hunt the prostitute with relativeimpunity. F ar too often, the murders go unsolved, even unacknowledged.

    If you spent more than 20 sec researching your facts Gilly...you might learn something one day;

note: 'Stranger' does not mean non-indigenous

NWAC has found that clearance rates range from a low of 42% in Alberta to a high of 93% in Nunavut. Higher clearance rates in the North may
reflect the proportion of family violence cases in this region, and the fact that it is generally easier to lay charges when the offender is someone close to the woman (such as a partner or family member) than when the offender is an acquaintance or stranger.
Of the murder cases in NWAC’s database where someone has been charged,

16.5% of offenders are strangers with no prior connection to the woman or girl
17% of offenders are acquaintances of the woman or girl (a friend, neighbour or someone else
    known to her); and
23% are a current or former partner of the woman or girl.

NWAC’s research confirms that Aboriginal women experience violence by both Aboriginal and
non-Aboriginal offenders, and the vast majority are men.

Where this information is known, more than half (59%) of women and girls died in a residential dwelling.

    AND from your own link:

The RCMP have said 70 per cent of the indigenous women slain in Canada meet their fate at the hands of an indigenous person.

They choose to live on reserves, just like many choose to leave the reserves and live elsewhere. They are not forced on reserves as you say...lol.
Again blaming whites for a problem that doesn't exist..

Op-ED pieces are far from evidence that FN women are being targeted by serial killers. Show us the cases where serial killers have been arrested and charged. There simply aren't any. The report on missing and murdered indigenous women states the exact opposite. No Canadian government has ever forced FN to live on reserves. That was an entity claimed by FN under treaty law.

Sums it up well. You can’t just infinitely throw $$ at a problem. It’s like scooping up garbage from a river while it’s still being dumped way down stream — you have to address the source.

Somehow all this reminds me of the OIC to restrict guns.
Truth does not matter. Political goals do, regardless of the fact, that the least involved pay the price.

Last time-great majority of law abiding LICENCED gun owners.
This time -all of us. Or at least -the ones who pay taxes.

    Sunny days my friends.

Well brother that's the whole problem a National Police Force the RCMP which was basically founded to oppress the First Nations being expected to protect them. They can't even protect female members who have won a multi million dollars settlement for guess what, sexual harassments and sexual assaults. They are basically hopeless as a Police Service that is why you have no serial killers charged or arrested.
These folks can hardly tie their own shoe laces.
