Well Doug has given us a timeline to stop all the nonsense...better buy a few more boxes of masks, we need them for the next 6 months

Here's a timeline of what you can expect:

Oct. 25: The province will lift capacity limits in the majority of settings where proof of vaccination is required including restaurants, indoor sports facilities and gyms, casinos, bingo halls and indoor meeting and event spaces. Places of worship, museums and personal care settings such as barbershops and salons can also do away with capacity limits if they require proof of vaccination.

Nov. 15: The government plans to lift capacity limits in remaining higher-risk settings where proof of vaccination is required, including night clubs, wedding receptions in spaces where dancing is involved, strip clubs, bathhouses and sex clubs.

Jan. 17: Assuming the holidays don't contribute to any "concerning trends," the plan is to lift capacity limits in places where proof of vaccination is not required. At the same time, proof of vaccine requirements may also be lifted for restaurants, bars and sports facilities.

Feb. 7: The province plans to lift proof of vaccine requirements in high-risk settings including night clubs, strip clubs, bathhouses and sex clubs.

March 28: Ontario plans to lift mask-wearing requirements in indoor public spaces, as well as remove proof-of-vaccine requirements for all remaining settings. Capacity limits and public health measures could be re-introduced at local levels to manage COVID-19 as needed.

I dont believe any of them! People should be revolting against this bs today, not waiting for next March for a "miracle" to happen.

Passports will be kept in place. They are not introducing them only to scrap next year.

I bet at least one booster DEMAND will be made between now and March 2022.

It is said that it takes 2 years to change people's behaviour! Draw your own conclusions!

The passports serve no purpose other than to try and force the unvaccinated to get vaccinated. Since the fully vaxxed are now becoming infected that plan has failed and is no longer effective under the guise of making it safer.

It can be scrapped. Isolating the unvaccinated is a moot point if 30% of the vaccinated are behind the wall with people who think they are safe. Especially when the population is close to 90% fully vaccinated.

All it's doing now is causing undue strain on the businesses having to enforce it.

They're going to try an end run and get the kids vaccinated, thinking that will stop the spread, But if you think you saw resistance from Adults, wait till you see the resistance trying to get kids vaccinated when there is virtually no more danger from the virus than there is from the seasonal flu.

Dragging this out another 6 months in an area, like where I live, that hasn't had but a spattering of positive cases and even fewer hospitalizations for months already will only cause a lot more unnecessary misery.

We have a common seasonal cold running thru the population now that is more of an issue with lots of kids staying home.

Face it, we're all going to have to learn to live with this virus. Good news is there was no 'wave' triggered after all the Thanksgiving gatherings and huge sports event with 28,000 people. So why is there still so much fear-mongering.

The vaccine's efficacy for preventing infections is only good for about 6 months...book now for everyone who's hooked to get their booster and move on.

Interesting that they no longer even pretend to base their decisions on science. They have arbitrarily picked 'dates'..6 months in advance as to how to continue to regulate our restrictions.

I never wear a mask anywhere. It’s the least I can do.

Time will tell if these things actually happen or if another manufactured crisis will push them all back indefinitely.

Ford's plan makes sense compared to Kenney's approach of lifting all the restrictions and promptly cratering his health care system.

It would be a mistake to conclude Ford is saying the restrictions will be on "only until" the various dates. What he is saying is they will be on "at least until" with an option to extend if cases and deaths are high. The western provinces have backtracked since opening too early. Ford is trying to prevent having to do the same but has and will depending on the situation at the time.
