Federal Statutory Holiday: National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
As you may be aware, the government recently passed legislation to make September 30th a federal statutory holiday called the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Like all Canadians, this day provides an opportunity for each public servant to recognize and commemorate the legacy of residential schools. This may present itself as a day of quiet reflection or participation in a community event.
Does that makes it more fair....for the rest of the nation, who will be working and paying the ones they are not?Somewhow i thought Federal Governement is our Government too,not a separate Universe.
I guess i am wrong.
Start to sound like my old country-we were all equal,by law and constitution.
But-there were some,they were"more"equal.

Why does the idiot have to make it a holiday. Most people will just sleep in if they can and never think twice about it. I know I won't, didn't have anything to do with the problem in the first place.
