It solves two problems..as I have said earlier, the Cons seriously should NOT want to take leadership of this mess. The budget (or lack there of) will be a burden and drag on the economy. No fixing that for years to come and whoever has to makes the cuts to make it happen will be turfed like the Liberals were in Ontario. They lost party status over the budget/economy issues.

AND...a Cons loss will result in turfing O'Toole....they need to get a leader the whole party will support. This fragmented party is its own worst enemy..NOT fit to lead a country right now.

It does not matter if he Liberals win a majority or not, the NDP will assist them in voting in none confidence motions and keep them in power as they have done during this term. If your stuck with a "hard to swallow" but acceptable alternative perhaps you should try and work out why you keep voting for an "out of touch" party with a leader who is the same. Canadians want a fair and compassionate party that represents all of them no matter what race or color or creed. Justin has done a fantastic job over the past two terms and will be rewarded for steering this fine country through a very difficult period.

Oh drop the BS about the Liberals Gil.

Canadians are voting for Justin only because he is giving them "free" money, that somebody is going to have to pay back.
And yeah, inflation is through the roof in reality, so this is hurting the poor more than the rich.

Not entirely true. I know of a few die hard conservative voters that took advantage of the crb just because they wanted the free cash. It doesn’t make sense to preach about how crappy the liberals are, while taking advantage of there program. Hypocritical in my opinion.

But like Gilroy eluded to, the conservatives need to do MORE to popularize their position and party. It needs to stop looking like the “old boys club” and start looking like a serious option for Canada’s future for everyone and not just big business.

Why can’t they figure this out already?? It’s laughable and sad all at once. All the analysts and strategists they have and they have nothing to show for it. Absolutely disgraceful.

Didn't the conservatives amend the cerb to allow a recipient to earn $900 per month before they became ineligible before the bill was passed? Why wouldn't your conservative friends take the cerb if their ability to earn an income was terminated due to liberal miss management, incompetence and lies, the bills keep coming like passengers from Wuhan at an airport. Bills don't discriminate on the basis of who you voted for.

Although Michelle wants to oust Trudeau and makes some good points she is also a trained Globalist. Another reason why the Con party is in disarray.

When the left figure out living off printed money has no future, maybe then we will have change.
The price of fuel and housing alone highlights Liberal failure of the people.
