It's all in the grand scheme of party politics. Pierre is quite clearly the statesman that O'Toole is not. It shows,he knows it and ,so,does everyone else. If the CPC loses this next election,O'Toole will be compelled to resign. Poilievre,Lewis and Sloan will be front and center,but,there will be a coronation of Poilievre without doubt. The proverbial political pendulum will have swung way too far to the far left. It may take one more solid Liberal majority,but,that pendulum will swing to the right,eventually. I mean who do you like more the guy that brings the food, the beer and wine and pizza or the guy the has to clean up and makes you pay for what you bought. I mean we have a PM that is doubling the lying, corrupt, creating debt, creating inflation, saying they will balance the budget in 2070 so essentially here is more pizza eat until you die and let the kids pay for it.

Well that was the idea 50 years ago and it worked well but that was a different time and the voters today think very differently.

Debt seems to mean very little today and many folks are up to their neck's in mortgage debt and car loans, lines of credit.

Governments talking about debt is no longer sexy, because most of the population does not give a chit.

As for working hard, I listened to a series of employers who cannot get people who want to work, some of them in construction who are prepared to train people on the job, find them late into work and half the times high on marijuana or worse.

I would be interested to hear which country in the WORLD presently reflects what you would like to see?
