I think the horses were long gone after the barn doors were closed. I doubt that by then,it didn't matter what any western government did,especially,after the Chinese government deliberately suppressed information long before the west ever knew about it.

Like so many other things, it’s unlikely that we will ever know the truth. Did it originate at the exotic food market like we heard or at a lab as rumoured ? Sounds like the start of Stephen King’s “The Stand”.

I read in one document on the source that it was from bats, now is it exotic food, human contact, bat eaten and carnivore to human .... something the lab was working on ... Wuhan does have a big lab north of the city... the conspiracy crowd will have fits with this one... "China's plan to reduce population", "Globalists create crisis to allow for gov't population controls", "Green Parties secret agent releases virus to eliminate people and save the planet", "When you hear the lab assistant say "oops" and hear glass break" .... I mean ... there are enough twisted people out there too it is ridiculous and they get away with it in the end sadly!

My will I go or not is slowly creeping to "Not going" to the Sportsman show .... 33 is still a relatively tiny number but that is the "identified" sick... a week or two still to go ... I don't see much in the way of repercussions for China in any event. China is the worlds superpower, the most extreme things Canada could think up wouldn't even equate to a PP slap for them.

Plain and simple the uproar from Canadian and US citizens if trade sanctions were put in place on China would be deafening. They make cheap crap, North America wants cheap crap.

Look at old Putin, invades another country, sanctions put in place and now Russia is booming! Now that Wuhan is here nobody thinks about Ukraine, Tibet, Chernobyl, the Japanese meltdowns, etc. Nothing said nothing doing. Humanity is one big gossip pot, when we see the next shiny thing to squawk about, the past is forgotten.

As predicted, the news is getting louder and louder. Governor of California declared a state of emergency tonight ? Schools all closed in Italy ? I don’t want to sound like I am encouraging the panic, but it does seem a bit like the movies.
