Even if it's presently over valued she has a responsibility to not sell them off below market.

It's not unusual to sell certain folk prime shares at lower costs. Corporations do it so EEs and execs. can have stock options to hold for a chance at profit. It's a "perk" sometimes and a "make me look good like I care" other times.
However I have no idea about legalities and Canadian government Corps. and their securities and exchange laws.
I think she's a witch no matter what she does.

Our securities and exchange laws are a lot tighter and much more strict than in the US. That's why we weren't in as much shyte financially, during the 2008 "too big to fail" economic meltdown. There's a couple of finance guys on this forum that can explain it a lot better than I can. We were also very lucky to have a rock-solid Conservative government leadership in Ottawa that knew what they were doing.

No doubt Harper made a huge positive difference during the economic crisis.
No doubt there is a nefarious reason behind the share selling considering the past several years of liberal leadership and fiascos.

While it may not be unusual for private companies to do something like this, this is a public corporation which is being sold and any actions which facilitate this process should be above board. The first round of selling these shares off (to the OPG/Hydro One employees and not general public) shouldn't have been an exclusive sell. This time she is selling the shares not only below market value but she is loaning the money to the people who she is exclusively selling the shares to. That money she is loaning is probably not a high interest loan either because lending rates are so low right now and since we are broke she has more than likely had to borrow that money to lend it. She is digging us into an early grave and she seems to think increasing power to the excavator is a good idea to get there faster.
Let's take the natives out of the equation for a second. Would this be ok if she sold the shares to Black Lives Matter and "loaned" them the money to buy the shares? The Government of Ontario is supposed to make decisions to benefit all Ontarians, not just the few who they deem as "needy". This deal doesn't pass the stink test.We are actually sending people money to purchase a public corporation.
The fact she has the audacity to do something like this without it being a major policy in the last election shows how truly underhanded she is. But you aren't allowed to criticize a policy of this government because you will be accused of some kind of bigotry or prejudice. However it is par for the course for this woman. She has decided to sell a majority of Hydro One, she has removed a public lane from the most busiest highway in Ontario in the busiest city and made it pay to play (as well as a high occupancy lane). The next thing will be having Ontarians pay to have access to public lakes and rivers. This madness has to stop.

Ontarians are ok with all this. They gave her a majority last election and she will win next time too. Unless you are in the public service or don't consume energy in any form orbit products that consume energy to get to market the comming carbon taxes will probably erode your disposable income. Ontario voted for this.

Good point, I tend to think of hydro as private, as most are in the States, although that isn't true in this case.
That is true about socialism, some will always be more equal than others as you pointed out.
