In our area it depends on the species. We have three different ones in our garden, the first is almost over. If we could get some rain the wild berries would do better.
We have picked along the hydro lines in July, Aug and Sept, same general area but different species of plant.

Berries in Sudbury are poor this year. Very small, some quite bitter. Another bad year for food for bears.

Agree! We've had no rain and again, hardly any berries for the second year in a row.

No rain for the majority of the year, an obvious drought in most of the province, all of the berries are going to hurt.

Boy I love blueberries - I have 2 dozen plants and so far I have eaten my fill everyday and have frozen 45 quarts so far - I'll probably end up freezing 60 quarts - I have blueberries all year long which I put into my oatmeal each morning - they are very healthy for you - when people ask me how come I look and run around like a 50 year old even though I'm 82 - I tell them its the blueberries
