Thumbs down ON issue #11 - ex-OPP Union leaders charged with fraud.

Not really political but it does reflect on Ontario and the integrity of the OPP I would say. Most notably since there are 4 active investigations of the Ontario gov't that seem to be stalling and the one obvious one on Sudbury election fraud was dropped.

Three ex-OPP union leaders among those charged with fraud, money laundering after RCMP probe

Three former top executives of the Ontario Provincial Police Association and two of their business associates were charged Thursday with fraud and money laundering following a 19-month RCMP probe into allegations of misuse of funds.
The investigation, led by investigators with the RCMP’s financial crime and anti-corruption units, centred on allegations that the union leaders “secretly benefited” from contracts that had been arranged between the OPP Association and two companies — a travel agency and a consulting firm — according to court documents.

Don't forget it was the OPP Union that campaigned in support of the Libranos. I wonder how deep you would have to dig for senior Libranos to get "implicated" with this bunch of union leaders? Hhhhmmmmm
not that having the police campaign for the governing party who they negotiate contracts with seems smelly? How big will the raise be next time as payment for dragging their feet on multiple investigations against the Liberals?

As I recall, it used to be against the rules for civil servants to campaign for or support in any way, a political party or politician. WTF!!!

It is also against the rules to sneak in an outside IT guy after hours and wipe out evidence of coverups by cleaning hard drives at Queens Park. Guess what. Interestingly the PANAM guys used the same tactic. I guess if it works don't fix it right?

Jim, some of us have been arguing that for years. Pointing out that since McGuinty took over, starting doling out a lot of love to certain Unions (large raises), while hiing tons, tons more than growth in private warranted. And how that is affecting the provinces ability to pay their total compensation, and services, and impact on the budget/tax payers, especially those who are "middle class" and below...Some of us, have pointed out the growing political involvement of Unions and the alarming impact on elections. Some of us, have pointed out the corruption and more, and how they (PS Unions) keep the hand that feeds them in power despite oh so much.

And we have been labelled many things for it.

Let's see if I missed anything....

    1) Gas plants - hard drives wiped
    2) Wind Turbine project - emails deleted
    3) PANAM - 3X

and she recently endorsed Hillary Clinton who is under investigation and there is the issue of the emails being deleted and her lies about Benghazi....

Wynne does seem to have a preference for coverups and non-disclosure... just like the Fed's with the Unions and reserves and some of their first actions to allow coverups....

Too nice out to be gloomy...
