Default Anyone else having coon problems?

I seem to have a coon infestation around my place this spring, I was scheduled for knee replacement surgery the 4th of April so a couple of days prior to the surgery I decided to check my workshop out and make sure everything was secure (lights out, compressor off, etc.) opened the door, heard a noise and see a coon sitting on a shelf and a hole about 8'' diameter tore in the end wall, went back to the house got a gun and then proceeded to chase the coon out of my shop, didn't get a chance to shoot him, anyway patched the hole, checked the workshop next day and he/she hadn't come back so thought problem solved. Had knee surgery and was laid up for about 4 weeks before I could get back to my workshop, opened the door and what a hell of a mess, stuff knocked off shelves, insulation pulled out and another big hole chewed in end wall. War declared on coons and this morning I "rehomed" number 11, I would have believed there was 3 or 4 around but not 11, and maybe I'm not done yet. Just wondering if anyone else is having problems with coons?
Hope for the best, prepare for the worst!

Yes. The bandit even climbed on to the back deck(15' high) and walked around the BBQ. I ran him off but he turns over the garbage cans now.

No coons , just a big rat.

Not coons but I 'rehomed' or recycled 45 squirrels at camp over the winter.

Good for you Sawbill, I only relocated one red squirrel in my workshop but that was plenty.

One night last weekend I opened up the man door to the garage from the house and came face to face with a big greedy one that was standing on the railing at the top of the steps. It was about 9 at night and I was just stepping out to hit the button to shut the main door. He startled and jumped up into the loft. I just left all the outside doors open for another hour and he went his way. There's a bunch of them around this year for sure.
