Where the eff did they go?

Apparently there was an army of them a year ago. Pizzed off because they weren't allowed to tell the world about their work and breakthroughs (you know, just like any other workplace where discussion of proprietary work with outside orgs / reporters is strictly regulated) under Harper's govt...

Yet, since JT took over and allegedly lifted the ban.... nothing.

No ground breaking announcements to be made. No significant research to be shared...

    Huh. Odd.
    Roosted ain't Roasted.

I guess all those "serious and grievous issues being suppressed by the Cons" weren't all that, after all. Remember those talking points from the last Liberal election campaign? Gee! Who knew?

It's unfortunate that most people dont understand that 99% of the evil conservative propaganda nonsense started even before they took power and it simply wasn't true, it was a liberal propaganda exercise from the beginning. It finally worked.

I am sure Steven Harper will enact his evil plan to overthrown the Canadian democratic process to install himself as a life-long dictator any day now......

Oh wait, the only person who seriously is speaking about democratic reform is the current Prime Minister. Totally hypocrisy Prime Minister Sparkle is getting a pass for a lot of things Harper would be absolutely crucified for.

I think the scientist's were griping about not being able to freely publish in academic and research community conferences and journals. Few of them would be reported in the mass media. Also there is usually a long peer review period between submission of a research paper and when it is published. So it may still be too early to say.
