If you ever wondered if she had a self serving secret agenda there ya go. She is selling off Hydro to her supporters and now is creating a situation where the sales will grow by legislation. As demand grows ( forced in this case) so will prices. Pretty basic economics. With likely years of cheap oil prices and astronomically rising electricity costs she thinks electric cars are the way to go. I wonder how much campaign contributions and kickbacks are involved here? It truly is a non stop almost weekly process of incompetence and corruption. Wait until your pay cheque gets docked 2% for the pension scam and then the carbon taxes cause another 5% inflation. Disposable income won't keep up with power costs. It's almost like she's on a mission to destroy the Province?
This is not new though. The libranos have legislated policing laws whereby towns almost have to use the OPP. She also gives them crazy increases and in turn gets their support and they drag their feet on the multiple criminal investigations against her. She is completely out of control and I for the life of me can't understand how this government is in power?

I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.

The estimate it is it will cost each house $3,000 more per year! Probably looking for a carbon tax excuse to use on natural gas, gotta raise lots of money to build the useless wind turbines and bribe the OPP with another 10% increase.
I am sure those numbers are for medium density residential, us rural folks will probably see a $10K increase yearly.

Definitely time to get to work on both active & passive solar systems to heat & power home as well as water systems.
I'm treating this "plan" of Wynne's like it's abolute gospel.
I thought there was no way the gun registry would pass - it did.
I thought there was no way Wynne could get reelected with a majority - she did.
I thought there was no way Wynne could get away with all the corruption and crimes - she has.
I thought there was no way Trudeau could get elected with a majority - he did.
This s#*t show is only just beginning. If you're at a point in life you can pull up stakes, sell everything and get the F*#k out of Ontario, DO IT!
Unfortunately, I won't reach that point in time....

She will find another way, look at how hard it is to have your own chicken in Ontario? You better be zoned right and they can just change zoning under you.
There was also talk of charging people from pulling water from their own well and a charge for septic use too.
Another thing to know, the off grid does not work in many municipalities due to wired smoke alarm laws, without them you cannot have occupancy and many do not recognize solar as a viable electricity source, so in the end you have to stay on the grid and pay over $100 a month to be connected to something you do not use at all.

Oh, I know all that Fox. But there are still tons of ways to implement viable systems that'd cut your hydro draw to near-nil that are perfectly legal and don't affect building code or bylaws.

SSSssshhhhh! If she finds out people are doing that she will impose a minimum surtax. I mean they preached conservation and when consumption dropped they raised the rates because revenue dropped. They will hunt you down and find you and squeeze the money out of you. They will call it something green or Eco this or that but you will have to cough up in the end. Resistance is futile.

Every decision the Liberals make seems to contrary to common sense and building a strong province. The most upsetting part is that people still support them.

Guaranteed ! A buddy up north heats with electric furnace, he keeps the house in the low 40,s all winter as they are down south. Hydro bills are still 7-900 a month...I can't imagine what they would be if he kept the house at 68....
