Has too much time on their hands
Angry
Anyone have this problem: our home phone, internet and satellite is with Bell. My main email address is a @bell.net which I could access prior to March 20th through the website outlook.com (I received an email stating that I couldn't get any or send any new emails in Outlook and I would have to utilize the "upgraded" Bell email). For the past two weeks I have tried the upgraded Bell email and quite frankly it sucks. Not even a little bit of suckage either, it takes the entire unit. I called last night to see what was going on only to be told I wouldn't be able to utilize outlook.com for my bell.net account because Bell has decided to stop using Microsoft and go with their own email system and there isn't anything I can do other than use their system (which I have come to loathe in two small weeks). The nice lady in India informed me that my experiences will get better with future upgrades (whenever that may be).
There are things I have setup in outlook.com which will not transfer over to the new Bell email service and I don't want to wait for "future upgrades". I was/am happy with outlook.com and I am extremely frustrated by this decision by Bell to not give options to continue using outlook.com (despite what the nice lady in India said that everyone she has spoken to likes the Bell email better).

Let me get this straight?... You're running Outlook but Bell will not let you sync your bell.net e-mail account with it? Its like Bell tries to make customers hate them.

You have been advised incorrectly. I have two bell.net email addresses and I continue to use Outlook as an email program succesfully.
Just download the pop3 and smtp settings and setup a new pop account in Outlook.

Like I said, I'm not guesssing. We've gone through the same migration (got the email 2 weeks ago) and everything is working fine in Outlook.

I don't use Outlook the program. I use (or used) the website Outlook.com. It is the old Hotmail website.

Oh, I get you. So you think the new platform sucks and want to go back to Outlook.com? Is that correct?
Not sure man. Why not just load free email software program onto your devices?
