Default Liberals welcome terrorists to Canada

    Some more dangerous Liberal ideology:

"The current law also has a provision that requires people to declare they intend to continue residing in Canada if granted citizenship. That raised concerns among some new Canadians that they could lose their citizenship if they moved outside of Canada. The new law would repeal this provision."

Obviously they have forgotten the debacle of 50,000 Lebanese/Canadians demanding rescue from the gov't when was broke out in Lebanon a few short years ago? I guess they think that is one of the "values" we Canadians so cherish and pride ourselves on?
Yes, please come to Canada, contribute nothing, then return to your native homeland with social security cheques in hand after you recieve citizenship. Everyone welcome!

There are lots like that, Hong Kong is common, Taiwan, I even know a couple working in Saudi Arabia that only come home a month out of the year etc. etc. They stayed long enough to get citizenship (and it's protections) then commute (if they have family here) or just stay and come back rarely. Them I don't mind, they don't contribute much here but better than those like the Toronto 18 leader, Omar Khadr, Walid Chaloub...... those are the ones the Liberal's are actively welcoming now!

P.S. Justin showing his support on TWITter

Justin Trudeau @JustinTrudeau How are we making the Citizenship Act more flexible, inclusive and fair? Read this before-and-after comparison:

With a new (and previously soon to be) Canadian citizen sitting across from me at the dinner table this has been a topic of conversation since it first came to press as a bill under the conservatives.
My wife (I think on principle) rejects the idea of “two classes of citizens”, she thinks that someone who the government vetted and accepted as a citizen should be treated the same as someone who was born here. To which I would respond “Are you planning on committing acts of terrorism? No? Then what do you care?”

But we had some good discussions, some points:

If someone was involved with a terrorist organization prior to applying, it means they lied about it and therefore (prior to, during and post bill C-51) their citizenship gets revoked; as it can for any lie, omission or misrepresentation on the citizenship application.

If someone’s original citizenship was in a country that is corrupt, unstable etc. it might be best/ safer if that person is dealt with in Canada (keep friends close, enemies closer). Or what if they have renunciated their original citizenship?

In the end, as with so many of these divisive headlines, I think this mountain is a mole-hill.
Heeere fishy fishy fishy fishy! :fish:
