Default Provincial Liberals Get Smoked In Oshawa Bi-Election

The PC's won the Oshawa bi-election with 52% of the vote to the Liberals 28%. The Liberals still got too many votes as far as I'm concerned. Could this be an omen of things to come?

    What are your thoughts?

It would have been disastrous for the PC to lose that safe seat but im sure Trudough is very confused that his mere presence didn't win over the riding. Wynne is polling @ 20% approval. It would be bizzare for her to win a byelection right now.

Funny the CBC isn't talking about it now, the other day leading up to it, they were saying it would be a slam dunk for the liberals especially with JT melding in a Bi election. Does he seriously not have bigger fish to fry right now? But I guess he owes wynne a few public appearances to pay her back, since he couldn't / wouldn't fix her pension problem.

I wonder if JT is billing his salary, travel, security expenses to the Liberal party for doing this purely partisan campaigning for Wynne? Are we not spending $ millions prosecuting Duffy for doing that? I mean it costs a fortune to move a PM around these days. Private jet, RCMP contingent, limos to and from the private jet. I bet we are talking huge money. Why should Canadians fund that? 60% of people who voted did not support the Liberals. And how ethical is it for the PM to be involved in Provincial campaigns?

Toronto Sun already checked and the Liberal Party of Canada is covering all his expenses for this.

Good to see them get hammered and JT take a bit of a poke in the eye. The PM has no business stumping for a premierre. And some say theres no problems/link between Ms Wynne and her Union friends and him.

The only thing that boggles my mind is that she still got 28%.

don't know how they could do the salary it's a fixed rate per year, he can work all the overtime he wants or he could only work every other week.

The RCMP salaries would be covered by the Liberal Party of Canada as well.
