    My niece purchased a lodge a few years back and sold it a few years later. It was a well established business but the working hours are a killer. Have at it.lol

    I heard that if you want to own a fishing lodge you have to love living without sleep and without fishing, ha ha.

    Agreed. Some of these people that I have met work like slaves and get very little time to go out for themselves. I thought I wanted that later in life until I saw that they had very little time to do what they loved in the first place. Vicarious through others.

    If I remember right, a guy named Burt Myers did that job at that lodge as a high school student back in the late sixties. Went on(along with Dan Thomey )to start the original OOD magazine where his son still writes....
