Could not be any worse than harper did , he spoke and thought for them all , until they had enough and started to bail.

Garneau is smart, Savvy in several areas of transportation, connected in that industry, and one helluva stand up guy.

Had the Libs made him party leader, I would have considered voting red.

About 80% of the rest of the appointments are jokes and drivel though. This should be an entertaining 4 yrs.
I agree. I have alot of respect for the guy. Hopefully he is given authority to manage and is not just a figurehead.

Yes, it is much better to be a drama teacher with a Bachelor of Arts and Education with no history of running anything of importance in charge of a bunch of people who have little background in what they are now in charge of than a person who acts like a boss. I don't know what companies you work at but any of the ones I have, the boss' say is final. He is the one directing the company.

JT told anybody who didn't approve of abortions that they had no place in the Liberal party. Of course he will get off on being "King". Hopefully the ministers get to run the show and not him.

While having actual experience is of course a big plus the new Defense Minister isn't going to command the troops. We have Generals for that. His job is mostly politics and PR media spin. Very expensive portfolio with very political expenditures. In the end the big decisions will be made in the back room not his office. Cancelling the F35 contracts seems too familiar. When Cretien politicized the helicopter purchase he put us 15 yrs behind and $ billions in the hole. Jets have a 30 yr expected shelf life and about a 10yr purchasing process. Not time to start over. And don't ever forget it was a Liberal government that selected them in the first place.

No he won't command the troops but he is responsible for the management of the DND and the direction it takes. He should have a good rapport with the Chief of the Defence Staff and should be able to assess what the military needs and have weight behind his voice when he advocates for it within the government. When JT needs a military response for a threat, Sajjan should be able to actually understand and know what he is talking about rather than simply rely on his staff to do the work for him or you let the chain of command tell the troops about a soldier's death rather than Twitter.

JT has zero experience himself. This is going to be quite the sheet show?

The corruption should start to rear its self sooner over later and like the Senate make the Conservatives look great but the media coverage will be working on their coverup and head in the sand coverage policy. Harper kept his wildly diverse group mostly in line but the usual crowd of idiot sheep you see in the Liberal MP has been replaced by radicals, nuts and fools for lack of a better word. We have Omar Alghabra who fortunately didn't get a cabinet seat (yet) that wanted to have Hamas taken off the terror list, Leslie who didn't get a seat (yet), Bill Blair didn't get one, Lawrence Macauly who got a patronage seat, an old Chretien liberal, that was forced to step down a conflict of interest, after he helped obtain funding for Holland College while his brother, Alex, was president of the institution, ...

Global warming will be a hammer used on Canada, a woman from downtown Toronto in Indian affairs... and then in the shadows with his hand in Justin's back is the architect of Ontario's decline Gerald Butts, his having a say should guarantee a disaster for Canada and freedoms.

The F-35, very unlikely to be kept, used Mig-21's from Cuba are probably on his list.

Stephan Dion has already made comments about Israel... pro-Hamas are going to be so happy!!

I think Ezra did a good job on talking about it. http://www.therebel.media/trudeau_s_..._pros_and_cons

Carbon taxes, debt, usual Liberal patronage and green energy.... an inexperienced idiot like Justin and radicals all over.... we will see if they can be worse than the Ontario liberals soon enough I am afraid. Seems like the good old Trudeau and Chretien era of there isn't a dollar we can't spend 10 of and a dictator we can't hug will be back.
