The murder rate in Canada declined by 36% between 1991 and 2004, the U.S. murder rate declined by 44% in that same time.
The homicide rate in Canada peaked in 1975 and has been trending downwards since?

Ontario is one of the safest provinces compared to MB and SK.

Things are likely to get worse here. But
We don't have the proliferation of guns the U.S. does.
We don't have the racial issues/tensions and won't.
We don't have the same socio economic issues and won't.
We don't have the same literacy, access to education issues and won't.
While we definitely have problems, the disadvantaged, and disenfranchised have access to more, that those in the U.S. don't.
Will things get "worse"? Imo yes, but it won't be to the same degree imo

It's just that we are used to guns - we get cowboy guns when we're kids - bb guns then hunting guns - I get when you think about it our country was formed with guns - so a gun is a gun - that's all - look at this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-yA2MavZeLw

I need to remember to include winks more often. Last two were tongue in cheek Joe.
Sort of teasing that guys down there are figuring how to use guns with them, and if you do grab a 12g some day. Might want to hope the "pilot" doesn't have a kicker drone with a kick.
