Federal Elaction and the Media.

Watching the news these days and the campaigning by the four contenders for top dog , it to me looks like the media is going easY on Trudough and Mulcair , almost forgetting Elizabeth May , but they are really hitting hard on Harper to the point of it being harrassment.

To me it appears that they really have it "in " for him , by not reporting on his campaigning but constantly harassing him with questions about his involvement in the "Duffy " scandal.
They are [the reporters ] like a pack of wolves just waiting for a slip of the tongue from Stephen Harper.

The media , in my mind are the source of many problems as they do tend to blow things out of proportion by their own biased feelings and reporting .

Reporting should be done in depth but with neutrality in mind and not being biased one way or another, IMHO.

That has been discussed many times on the forum. Unfortunately no way to change that.

Theres really only one paper, media outlet thats a right voice, and maybe one or 1.5 that imo is balanced. The rest are just left (thats ok, need L/R but preferably balancing each other) or outright garbage politically with vested interest.

Well let's see now. So far just about every PS union is signed up to campaign against Harper be it Federal or Provincial. The Premier of the biggest Province is working full time at attacking him. The NDP has basically taken over Quebec which has a huge seat count and the Maritimes will vote for Liberal handouts until the end of time. I will repeat it again, lock your doors, bury your money and guns the Socialists are coming.......
