Has too much time on their hands
Highway 60 paving rant
Last year they put new culverts under Hwy 60 from Killaloe to Wilno. This summer they paved the highway. I thought it was all finished except for the centre line painting.
No - they are digging up the lovely new pavement to put in more new culverts! Now there'll be ugly bumpy patches
in the new asphalt!

I know how you feel. As someone who works in the asphalt construction industry I see this all the time. We will just get finished a section of highway and then a few weeks later they will discover that there is work to be done on a culvert or underground wires. When you ask about it, generally your told it's been scheduled for a year or two. The left doesn't know what the right is doing in most cases.

Haldimand County does that too. I see they're replacing culverts on the 144 when we drove through there last week. That friggin' road in places will shake you apart.

FIVE years ago, Levesque re paved a section of the Musclow Greenview road that runs parallel to highway 62 (south of Maynooth). That section of road is still in PERFECT shape, no frost heaves or cracks. Traffic moves along at 110-120 kph. This is a township road. When they re pave a provincial road the job starts to break up after the first winter...
