A huge fan of subsidies? You do realize they are all paid for by the tax payer. That's real dollars coming out of peoples pockets.

They're tax dollars that are already being taken from our pockets in order to pay for the privilege to be able to buy crap/luxury goods that are non-essential to life.

What i support would be subsidization of Canadian agriculture - one of the most important aspects of our life - INSTEAD of crap cars, big screen tvs, etc. Let those items be treated as truly luxury goods and let the worthy endeavours receive the social support.
