Thanks! My peas are looking like yours - they grow so quick! I put in 12 different varieties of veggies in the newly put together planter (12'x6'x12"deep) early this month. Starting from seed in March seems to have made the difference; all the veggies are growing very quickly now that they're in the ground.

Got the house up for sale and didn't bother planting a vegetable garden this spring. One of the driest springs in this neck of the woods for sure.

We had a killer frost last week that knocked off our young ash trees. The little elms and apples came through OK.

I planted some tomatoes outside today.

    Hopefully no more frost.

Potatoes, tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, kale, spinach, beans and lettuce are in. Just need to put the onion set and I'm done.

Maybe few more giant sunflowers to scare the neighbourhood kids.

I got mine in later than usual this past weekend, might be a good thing because of the frosts we had last week. I only have a small garden, but I got lots of tomatoes(beefsteak, tiny tim, and some early variety I cant think of), plus red onions which I planted in april, and more this weekend, and some peas and beans. I am trying yellow beans for the first time.
gonna be a busy summer for me, but I am glad I got some veggies planted!!

One benefit of living in a little warmer climate is you can plant things a lot earlier - I already have small tomatoes on my plants - eating lettuce and broccoli and kohlrabi already - spent the last couple days thinning the fruit from my apple, plum and peach trees - raising quality fruit takes a lot of work - first you have to trim the trees each year - then you have to spray them bugs and diseases - then you have to thin the fruit - them you have to shoot at the crows and squirrels - I spray my trees with organic sprays that I get from Gardens Alive -
