When I do my archery hunt in mid dec, the past two years I have worn Irish Setters with 2,000 grams thinsulate and heavy Merino wool socks. I sized them such that I can wear in Nov and be ok and during those Dec hunts they are "just" large enough I add those thermal cell inserts which provide a wee bit of warmth (don't expect miracles). Theres enough room to wiggle toes, feet etc. Constricting blood flow will result in cold feet no matter what your wearing.

Sits in the stand are typical 8:30am to 11:30am and 2:00pm to 4:30pm.

2013 the average temp was around -18 to -20. Some days it was -30 at first light
2014 the average temp was around -8 to -10.
No complaints. Thats not to say I don't feel it at those temps after 2hrs, but its not the kind "omg my feet are freezing, thats enough" feel it.

I was about to go with Mucks for later season but the kid in Cabelas was telling me any Cabelas brand boot is guaranteed for life over the counter replacement so I will be trying one of their products this fall instead. I find I wreck a pair of rubber boots every 2-3 years deer hunting so this could work out to my benefit.
I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.

I have a pair of Muck Fieldblazers and I love, love, love them. They were for my birthday three years ago. As someone else on here mentioned, just adjust the weight of your sock as the seasons change. I have some amazing heavy wool socks for ice fishing for winter, I have some nice Browning merino wool socks for cold weather, and I wear regular cotton socks in them in the summer time. Dakota Creek Retrievers carries Muck Boots, and a number of us have had really good experiences getting product from them. http://store.dakotacreekretrievers.com/

Muckboot Wetland rated -20f have had them for four years now and use them year round. Muckboot does need to come up with a rip proof type material. Shop around because I paid $99.00 on sale when regular price is $134.00.

Love my Milwaukee heated jacket. I don't have the hoodie but they are essentially the same and pretty awesome. My one suggestion would be to buy an extra battery so you have lots of warmth power. Enough guys have already offered opinions on boots.

I have a pair of Kamik rubber boots that I wear, and they are pretty quiet, warm and waterproof. I would recommend them. They were $79 or so from CT. My buddy spent $200 or something silly on some Muck Boots from Bass Pro and his feet are always getting cold before mine.
