Investigation or contract negotiation?
So, how many now think that this so called "investigation" by the OPP is not just another smoke and mirrors charade just like all the other active investigations on the Liberal government? Will this drag on years also? Or is it just one of the steps in the next contract negotiation with the OPP? Personally, I think the OPP and Liberals are so far each other's butz that there is likely nothing the Libranos can do that will ever see one charged. They all have taxpayer funded get out of jail cards.

I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.

Shiite that goes on in this province should or must be investigated by an outside police agency, unfortunately there's not many to choose from. That's the only way you're going to have any hope of clarity and honesty.

I don't trust any police agency to do it right. They all feel like brothers. What we are now is a banana republic with snow.

There's no way the OPP should be investigating their own employer ! That never happens in other police services. If an officer is being investigated for a serious criminal offence, outside investigators are generally called in. What's the difference here ? The RCMP should be conducting this whitewash, at the very least !

Has too much time on their hands
http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toront...ions-1.2939578
3,000 nurses on strike
High School teachers about to go on strike
OPP...
They will "absolutely" be looking for another increase this year, though they're not seeking a catch-up clause this time, said Jim Christie, president of the Ontario Provincial Police Association.
Of course strikes save the province money.... teachers not working for ... lets be real cynical and say May, June... and of course July and August.... OSSTF has 60,000 members take an average of 60,000 per year or $5,000 a month ...So... $300,000,000 a month in savings on salary alone... bing there is $1.2 Billion in Ontario savings.... students be dammed and they can blame the Union... which is true too.... double it if Elementary go too.

Oh and even with that $400 mill. last year the Elementary teachers are threatening too..... matching the 2 week 1997 strike...assuming the same pay as Sec School... coming in $300,000,000 under budget would look good to the low info short term memory loss voters.

If we tried it the front door would be busted down and we would be serving time... until they decided to talk to us.

If they actually believe Wynne that she knew nothing about it (AGAIN) will Lougheed and Sobara be charged ? I don't see them taking the fall for her (maybe ) nor do I think she will throw them under the bus as they will likely point the blame squarely back at Wynne where it belongs. I fully agree that the OPP have no business investigating this, should be independent from the province altogether.

I talked to a guy tonight who's a picket captain on the teachers strike. He's getting 3/4 of his salary while on strike. That's still more than many make who are working full time.
