I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.

How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

I have no idea who it was.
I had the same thing happen in a grocery store a few weeks back. This very heavy set older gray-haired lady walked up beside me,slipped her arm around my waste and said "Hi,it's been a long, long time since I've seen you. How have you been?" I had to wrack my brains while making small talk to figure out who the h**l she was until she asked "Have you been around our old neighborhood lately?" I said "Which one?" She said "You know where we used to live." Lord thunderin',it was my ex wife. The years were not kind to her,let me tell ya,I felt like an idiot...not that it hadn't been 30 years, mind you. Time really marches on,doesn't it?
