    Default Ride for dad

For all you guys on here with ATV's (many) there is a ride organized tomorrow (Saturday) by a local club that I will be attending for a very good cause.

The ride will be 100 kms long with the weather promising to be ideal. The $30 includes trail lunch and dinner at the end of the ride. There will also be a silent auction on great items.

Join up, enjoy the day and help fight prostate cancer. It could possibly mean someday eliminating that very uncomfortable exam!

PS. I'm not associated with this club or event. Just a participant.

NVATV has had trails open during the winter for the last few years. Some years they had breakdowns of their grooming equipment and were not able to maintain the trail for the entire winter. I'm not a club member, but I hunt in one area where the trails pass through.

Impact, if I would have know ahead of time that you were going, I might have tried to attend. Unfortunately, this Saturday I am not available due to family commitments. Enjoy though!

Great turn out for the ride today and very well organized. Trail lunch and dinner after the ride. A couple of large bon fires were strategically placed along the route to warm up, take a break and chat. Many prizes awarded and came home with a pair of Kimpex gloves and my son a t-shirt. There was over 200 ATV's participating. We clocked 85 kilometers by the end of the day. The snow was deep in some areas and it was a challenge but we made do. A nice day to be out with my son for a very special cause.
